I wasn't going to post this until St. Patrick's Day, but I got tired of it sitting around on my desktop (and I'm sort of OCD, wherein I refuse to move a piece to its correct folder until it's been posted). Anyway, it seemed like for this awesome holiday, Harry should be having it off with Seamus. And some Guinness. So he is:

I actually think the face looks more 'Draco-ish', but I really wanted to go with Seamus for St. Pat's Day. D: Anyway, it's basically the same picture minus the freckles, with grey eyes and blond hair. Y/N?


AND YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE how much torment I went through with this. Seamus!Draco looked totally stupid for the longest time. He went through three different hairstyles AND a change of facial expression/hand gesturing. I give you, for your entertainment, the BLOOPER REEL:

Have I ever told you how utterly envious I am of your artistic talents? I can barely draw stick figures -- okay, I lie... my stick figures are atrocious -- let alone something that looks like that. I love Samus!Draco's neck. It looks so realistic. As per your "blooper reel" I love the second hairstyle. I'd love to see that one in the future. Not for a Draco, or Harry, but someone else definitely. Very well done, all the same.

The second hairstyle is fun, isn't it? kittehkat and I went through a men's hairstyle site and tried to find a good one, but in the end I just went with the plain old short with long bangs. It would be a good hairstyle, I think, for Crowley from Good Omens. You read that?

Dude, I love Seamus. His coloring. It's fucking awesome. Also his little WRIST and he's so CUTE and he's got three-quarter sleeves and Harry's hair is awesome (I love the red highlights) and aslkdajslkdajsldk. You're one of my favorite HP artists. F'reals.

Omg, it's like Christmas! Early arts! *love* After an hour of maybe one of the most frustrating hours of dealing with me being all negative about this picture I finally get to shower you with all the things that are absolutely amazing! :D

The background is freaking gorgeous. O.O I love your windows, all the time! They must be a specialty of yours, just like your noses! You should give lessons or make a tutorial on how to make such a complete, wonderful background! I also love the shadowed figure! I'm not sure if it's supposed to be Fudge (BLEH), or Arthur, or someone random, but it's totally one of those finishing touches that's just awesome! The poster, the certificate! Eee! Little details = AMAZING piece!

I love the lettering on both the boys' shirts, it's great! Man, you have such an eye for fabric and movement! All the shadows and blushing! Eeee! I love the poses you changed to, you executed them SO well! Such intense, beautiful colors! It's like a palette explosion of warmth and wonder! XD Seriously, so good! Oh, and Seamus being such a flirt! The raised eyebrow! *snicker* Ehehehhehe, so awesome!

Although I much prefer Seamus (he needs more action!!!), Draco's hair is .perfect. Wow, the way you captured the color! And his eyes! Beautiful!

OMG. It took me like a year to respond, and you were my beta! How remiss! Let me let you in on a secret re: the windows: I cheated. I made them once for this picture using the line tool and some creative overlay/multiplying in PS and then copied the layers onto the Snape/Pansy picture. Then, I just adjusted the coloring. I know. I'm horrible. And the lettering was fun. I really got to play around with different PS tools with this picture and even though we had that hour of WOE, I'm pretty happy with it. Thanks so much. Love you like woah!
