2019, where have you been?
Hey friends, aquaintances, and people who don't recall ever seeing this name before.
It's been 11 months since I last posted. It'll probably be another 11 months until I post again. Or possibly never, as I keep toying with the idea of deleting this thing altogether. The only thing that stops me is that I'm kind of attached to the history of this thing—that I was here, that I touched this, etc. etc. Likely, I'll just download a copy of this thing and delete it within the next few months.
SO! Here's a quick update of my 2018 + what you can do to keep in touch with me, if you're so interested.
2018, in rough chronological order:
- I made an AMAZING group of friends, who I don't think I'll ever be able to live without again.
- My daughter was born. She's just over 4 months old now, and amazing.
- I published my first novel.
- I made my 33rd circuit around the Sun.
Where you can keep in touch with me - DM me for my profile on these!
- If we've met IRL and still haven't done so, I'm happy to friend on FB or Insta
- If you're in fandom and want to talk fandom with me, I'm on Discord
- If you're writing original fiction and want to talk OF, I've got an IG and a Discord community
- If you read a lot, I'm on Goodreads
- If you're not in any of these camps, but don't want to lose touch, we'll figure it out!
- If you really don't care about keeping in touch, but want to say goodbye, I'm here to hug!

It's funny because you're using all the sites I don't and the other way round. I am on Discord but with its groups/servers it's not a good medium for a multishipper like me. I've already got problems following the three Hannibal servers I'm part of. Anyway, I'm Nia Kantorka #9292 if you want to tell me more about Harry Potter servers on there. :)) I'm also on Twitter, DreamWidth, and Pillowfort but only with a fake account on Facebook and not on Instagramm. My Goodreads shelves are empty because they had some hardcore ToS changes a few years back. Since then I'm just using it as a database to search for books or book editions.
I'm kind of strict about user friendliness and rights of users. Which means no Tumblr for me either anymore. Btw, I just saw this post because I get an email if someone posts again after a long time. All my other LJ notifications are switched off and I'm only here if there's no other way to keep in touch with a fandom friend.
So, I'd love to see you on other internet sites but am not sure where. Probably on the discord.
Also, enjoy your time with your little. They grow up so fast. Yes, everyone says these things but it's true. Our girl is 8 now and though she is still our baby she's got so tall. It's truly amazing. :D

i'd love to add you on goodreads! i do read a lot, but i definitely absolutely need to update it lol. i've started writing as well, but i'm still a noob. i'm not sure if that makes me qualified to join that discord community :')
